Weight Loss & Fitness

It is time to take action?
If you’re ready to look and feel healthy, improve your energy level, and optimize your overall wellness, it’s time to schedule a consultation! At Verdure Wellness AZ, we work with you to customize a program specific to your needs to promote a healthy and sustainable outcome.

Quality products designed to improve your metabolism and body composition for results that exceed simply watching the number on the scale.
- At Verdure Wellness AZ it begins with a physician evaluation to address your personal goals and to review medical history in order to determine which treatment plans are safe and appropriate.
- Tailored to your needs, the ideal plan may include prescriptions, well-researched supplements of premium quality, an exercise/activity regimen, and/or a diet and meal plan.
- Medications and supplements can include IV infusions, intramuscular injections provided in the office, subcutaneous injections (tiny shots under the skin) administered in office or at home, oral pills/capsules, or sublingual (under-the-tongue) formulations.
- Frequency of visits with the doctor depends upon your needs and the treatment plan you choose. Your plan will evolve as you progress toward your goals.
- Cost for a treatment plan varies widely. For some, an inexpensive but effective boost is all that is needed. Others may choose to invest in a more comprehensive approach to health, wellness, and weight loss, which of course go hand in hand.
Are you already in shape but looking to optimize further? Have age-related changes posed an extra challenge? We can help with that too! Ask about our Fitness and Recovery Protocols.

PROGRAMS:
Semaglutide (GLP-1 agonist) / Tirzepatide (GLP-1 agonist + GIP agonist)
Commercially, these medications are known under several names, including Ozempic ®, Mounjaro ®, and others. The results from these medications can be remarkable, but treatment should not be taken lightly and these drugs should never be used without adequate medical supervision, as there are risks. Working closely with a prescriber provider who fully understands how to optimize success is critical.
NOTE: It is important to understand that these these drugs may be available through your primary care physician (i.e., covered by insurance) and it is absolutely reasonable for you to pursue treatment via this avenue, although results may be less than optimal.
Through Verdure Wellness AZ, the cost of medication is included as part of a comprehensive program designed for meaningful change and sustainable results. It is extremely common for patients to regain weight after using one of these medications without appropriate support. In fact, many are worse off due to the level of depletion these drugs can cause if they are not administered as part of comprehensive treatment program.
The Verdure Wellnes AZ program includes:
- Recommendations for lab testing to assess health and wellness (can be performed in-office)
- Weekly in-office injection of semaglutide or tirzepatide, depending upon the program you choose
- Weekly vitamin injection to prevent depletion and minimize side effects
- Weekly check-in appointments to monitor progress and to address potential side effects
- Weekly evaluation of recommended lifestyle changes, which provides accountability (an invaluable aspect in the weight loss journey)
- Ongoing recommendations for lab testing and/or additional supplementations, as appropriate for your specific needs
- Support and lifestyle coaching along the way
The goal of this type of therapy is to serve as a bridge as you optimize overall wellness and make lasting changes. While data show that it can but used long-term, the goal at Verdure Wellness AZ is to transition to a maintenance program over weeks to months.
